MQTT Server Information

The credentials below are for the DBQMesh MQTT server, which is used to upload information from the mesh network for visualization in a web portal. Node-to-node communication continues to occur exclusively within the mesh itself—this setup is solely for collecting and visualizing network activity.

Uplink Node Configuration

If you have a node with internet connectivity and would like to configure it as an uplink, use the following settings:

• Node Settings > MQTT
  • Enabled: True
  • Root Topic: dbq
  • Server Address: mqtt.dbqmesh.org
  • Server Username: meshuplink
  • Server Password: meshuplink
  • Map Report Enabled: True (optional, but recommended)
• Node Settings > Channel (Default/Primary)
  • MQTT Uplink Enabled: True
  • MQTT Downlink Enabled: False

Note: The meshuplink credentials are restricted to upload-only functionality. This ensures the mesh does not become dependent on the internet, while still allowing external data collection and visualization.
